Dr. Jayaprakash Narayan is an Indian Politician and is the President of the Lok Satta Party in Andhra Pradesh.
Jayaprakash Narayan was born on January 14, 1956 in Godavarru Village, Vijayawada at Andhra Pradesh. He did his intermediate education in Andhra Loyola College and obtained a medical degree from Guntur Medical College.

Jayaprakash Narayan achieved all India second in the IAS. He worked in the public administration for 16 years. He launched the Lok Satta Movement in 1997 and started the Lok Satta party in 2006.
Dr. Narayan joined public administration after making it to I.A.S. in 1980 standing all India topper. He worked on agriculture, irrigation, technology and youth rehabilitation projects in various capacities and in various districts of Andhra Pradesh.
